On that route I guess that your idea should be fine as snow would not be as likely as driving through France and then turning right at the bottom :-) good all seasons such as the Vectors would do the job.

Sorry, missed your question XC70 Driver. I had the Nokian entyres. Would happily have again but they don't seem easy to get.

Have a Skoda Superb 3.6 4x4 now but miss the volvo. DSG is a bit too eager and makes getting speeding tickets all too easy! Is encredibly quick and capable though.

I fitted the Assimentricos last year but have not seen a snowflake since so will see how they get on this winter if we have any of the white stuff!
