Default XC90 Tow bar and electricals

Good morning sage ones,
I bought an 06, 1 owner, full service history XC90 D5 SE from a Volvo dealer just before Christmas. So far so good. I asked for a got a fresh years MOT with no advisories.
I paid a very reasonable price and believe the salesman (foolish i know) that the previous owner provided a folder with every invoice and every item bought on the car since they supplied it.
I bought a Witter Tow bar from ebay that came with PCT automotive Towing interface relay and Volton 12 volt supply thingy all wiring and two sockets.
The wires only have the soggy ends and not connectors.
I do not have a problem with how to trace relevant cables but hate chocy block connectors and have read that using these can fry the electrics.
I just want a simple connector for the trailer board. No frills, just the wiring from socket to loom or advice about connecting the interface relay if necessary.
So far love this car as it does everything it should, every thing works as it should. I feel it may be too good to be true and my wife will kill me if it fails, LOL!
