Default XC70 Windscreen Washer jet delay

I did put a note on this in the Windscreen Washer Pumps thread, but I think it got lost in there.

Anyway.....on my 2013 XC70 D5, when I activate the front screen wash jets, the left hand one sprays immediately, but the driver's side jet takes about a second longer to spray. They both spray fine once they get going, but I have never seen this kind of delay between the two jets.

Is this normal behaviour? It wasn't on my 2011 XC70.

If it's abnormal, which I suspect, then any ideas as to what could cause this or how to fix it?

Leakage, perhaps, so it takes longer to fill the hose to one nozzle than the other?

That's what I am thinking too. If it leaks and the tube to the nozzle empties down a bit, it takes longer to fill to the point it can spray.

If it ever stops raining, I will have to take a look and see if I can find a leak.
