ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

andyjames New Member Last Online: Jun 17th, 2015 20:47 Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: Walsall	Ets light on & engine lacks power Hi i noticed today when i started my volvo c70 2003 that the ETS light was on i then started to drive down the road when i noticed i could only accelerate upto 2 - 3000 revs the engine sounded rough and was lacking power whilst i could only get the car to do 20 mph, i pulled over on the side to find that the car was idling very erratically with the rev counter bouncing up and down, i turned off the engine and restarted it once i had done this a few times the ETS light went off and the car was running fine again. Every time i leave the car for a few hours and then return to it i seem to have this problem, any ideas on how i can solve this would be appreciated as i explained it tot he garage and they said it could be something to do with the clutch which i find very strange as the clutch is working perfectly fine
