Default Best cleaners/polishes

At the moment I'm using maguires.....my car is nowhere near concourse, more like keyed and been through a few nasty car washes, but what do people rate for a good clean finish and wax?
Are those battery or electric polishers any good?

I bought a polisher from halfords, lasted about 45min before burning out. In my opinion I find auto glym to be the best polish not a quick fix though. I used the paint renevator, for a couple of months or so, after using each time you put a layer of polish on. After several polishes using just the polish I then bought some of their gold polish. The finish is superb but you have to be very careful too much and it a nightmare to get off. The fininshing touch, wonder wheels for your tyres, wet look. I have also found Mr muscle with added vinegar seems to be the best for the windows. Not quite sure how it will react on your screen when its ****ing down.

AutoGlym is very good at the price, esp the gold stuff you put on after the normal polish.

If you want to $pŁnd then zymol. I bought some when I was selling my porsche, it really did make a difference, esp after a couple of applications.

This is one that is going to run and run I bet. It is all down to what your happy with, I have used Autoglym for years and years, didn’t think anything could come close, and then I was recommended to try Maguires, I was astonished at the results.
Apart from the bling bling effect, the very nice thing about it is you don't get any of those powder residues after buffing. I could go on and on, but check out the following sites, see for your self; www.meguiars.com/ www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/default.asp

dave,

i will certainly endorse what you say about maguires, l also used to use autoglym but found maguires "gold class" far superior, and it did not leave white marks on the trim either!
