Just came home from work, looked on gumtree, phoned up about it................................................ ......sold!!!

It looks to be a 940 Sport edition??? with those galaxy wheels an roof spoiler.

Someone scored a bargain for sure. Cheap as chips.

Yeah, the price was indeed £650!
Everything about the advert was right...Owned since 2003(by a mature guy) below 150 000 miles, service history, the right type of owner/property/location etc etc. The black leather interior looked to be in good condition too.

Not all positives though, puckered door cards! lacquer peel on bonnet...but i could have lived with those minor negatives!!
If the spare wheel was a matching Galaxy(which i bet it was) then the 5 wheels were worth the asking price?!...I reckon this car(as it stood) was probably worth a minimum of £2000 upwards.

These rare 940's are still out there, but not many of them become available these days.

There was one of those for sale at a dealer in January. Similar mileage but no paintwork issues. I think he was asking around £5K.
