Default 1998 940 manual celebration silver 96K

Hi guys

I have a 96K 940 celebration with a manual box for sale.

It’s silver, it’s still got its wood and egg crate too!

I bought it needing some love and the following have been replaced
1) timing belt and all 3 aux belts
2) exhaust from cat back and new cat, manifold gaskets, studs and nuts
3) oil and filter
4) windscreen
5) 3x tyres
6) one tail lamp
7) air con re gas, it’s ice cold!

What’s it got going for it? Well it’s as close to original as you’re probably going to find, it’s lived in london most of not all of its life. It has genuine Volvo roof cross bars, and the dog guard 3 keys and 2 working remotes though one remote needs a new strap, full set of snow trays, nothing seems to be missing, it looks very original. It’s now got 12 months MOT. Yes there are some imperfections but it is a quarter of a century old. It drives very well, gearbox is silky smooth and it pulls well. With baby miles on the clock and being as close to original as your probably going to get it isn’t going to be cheap, it’s one to look after and to cherish or put away for a few years and watch the value go up. I will be taking some photos of it tomorrow so you can all see it. It’s located in Gloucestershire, if you want to come and have a look that can be arranged, if you want a run up the road that can be arranged (provided your insurance covers it, else I can drive it) if you want it delivering that can be done too at the cost of the fuel and the train home (as long as your not somewhere crazy far away) I want in the region of £4500 for it, we all know scruffy or high mile late cars are now fetching 2K plus.

I know that it is now sold, but it is one of the very few cars that looks good in silver...

I think the same, silver is such a boring colour but it is one of the best colours for a 940 IMO.
