Default P1800 Water ingression problems

My P1800 is letting in a lot of water through the grille between the bonnet and the windscreen. Water from heavy rainfall or a hose seems to build up in the tray under the grille and then, once full, it starts spilling out from under the dash board through the air ducts. I've been looking at this but I can't work out where water that comes through the grille should be draining to. Does anyone know where the water should be draining and how can I clear any blockages?

Try fully closing the scuttle ventillators. Sometimes their operating cables stick or deform when the shutter mechanism is stiff. A few vigorous pulls & pushes on the tee-handle should do the trick. Good luck.

And make sure the scuttle drains are clear so that excess water can get through.

All the best, Peter
