Software is crap but i'm currently trying to find out if this vol-FCR will work with an ME7 C70.
The newer elm 237 will read certain codes but vol fcr won't work with the me7 engine.

And to do it correctly with software you need vida and dice at approx 150 quid and a laptop to run it on

OK - have similar issue in taht I want to reset service light but would also like the Volvo FCR to read fault codes should the need arise.
So, will that ebay item work with a 1996 (1997 MY) 850tdi with OBDII?
Has anyone used it in practice?
If I can't dig out a serial port laptop - will the £1.80m USB cable do the job or not?
Thanks folks
