Is it possible to refresh the ecu software on a V70 D5 T4, if so how would I go about it?

By ECU, are you referring to the ECM (Engine control module) ? Maybe try asking this shop ? http://volvodiagnostic.com/shop/inde...gory&id_lang=1

Thanks, that looks like a good start point. I'm after checking out the engine management system as we keep getting different codes each time we run the car so I figure a reboot is required.
