I used to have one with unusual reg No just wondered what happened to it was it scrapped or is it still about the Reg No was GUM 822Y or gummy as it was known It had a new engine and box when I baught it. by the way it was silver. I know its a long shot but I thought I would ask.

Just checked the DVLA

Date of Liability (whatever that is): 01/08/1997

Date of first registration: 25/03/1983

Vehicle status: Unlicensed

Hello,
Date of liability refers to the date the road tax was due for renewal for the car to be driven legally.
Unfortunately I would say this one met the crusher in '97. Else it would be 'Sorn' and not 'Unlicensed'.

Thanks for that I wondered what became of it .Iknow it needed new doors when I gave it away they had gone on the bottom of the windows.I hope someone used the engine and box as they had only a few k on them.

I wonder what would appear if the car had been crushed ? Could just be a rotting shell somewhere that sorn was never declared, dont think sorn existed back then ?

From the info in this thread I was the last person to use it on the road so I aint got a clue what hapend to it

Hello,
All our cars that met with the crusher are still on the DVLA database, recorded as 'unlicensed' leading me to surmise that wrinkles 340 has met a similar fate unfortunately.

Probably unlikley the engine was saved, not much demand for B200Ks. Mine has 200K miles on it, I feel bad replacing it with a B230FT. It diserves to be kept and used.
