Mint –adjective
4.
Philately. (of a stamp) being in its original, unused condition.
5.
unused or appearing to be newly made and never used: a book in mint condition.

.....so not mint then. You might be able to get away with that description on Fleabay, but certainly not on an owners forum. I would be ****ed if I turned up to look at a car described as mint that had red oxide primer on it.

It does look a nice car though and it's now had plenty of publicity on here LOL, let's hope it goes to someone in the forum

Yeah, it really seems to be a very nice car with a lot of potential.

But 'mint' means 'mint' and this one clearly is not.

To be fair, the seller does not say mint, but she does say say "no bad points" when there are photos of rust!

And although the wheelarch bubbling may not seem too bad yet, the rust here normally comes through from behind, from inside the spot-welded join at the lip, so cutting out and welding in new metal is the only way to do anything other than a temporary holding repair.
