... It certainly makes life a lot easier. One of my favourite bits of kit at the moment (along with my workshope heater!). A slipped disk 15 years ago and a motorbike accident when I was a lad makes me happy to invest when it comes to any form of equipment that will minimise stooping / kneeling and help prevent back problems from re-ocurring. Do you have a link to any pics of your Amazon?

This photo illustrates nicely the difference between the faded 'pink' old red interior and the 'new' Ox-blood red set that I picked up...

I'm still looking for a 2 door drivers side door card (also a good passenger one really as well) if anyone can help?...

Some pics in this thread when i first got her http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=101479 She was owned by a very nice chap from Weston Supermare who bought her for spares then realised she was too good to break and worked on her over the years and gave her a repaint, but there was a lot of work to do once i started digging, getting there now and just putting the new interior in as the old one was burnt and rock hard, not original but i think it looks nice. And drove it yesterday for the first time in six months

I like the interior. Looks like a very upmarket original.
Nice Amazon. Looks like a lot of hard work has gone in there.

There have been some interesting 'discussions' in the Hunter household recently about the freebie Amazon project and the particularly nasty phrase "MOT'd by March or ?..." has been mentioned more than once.

If I had more time, I'd be able to do all the bodywork to a really high standard in one hit, but I think for now, I'm going to have to do the minimum 'proper job' on the underside and put the thing back together and scrape it through an MOT. The primer I have bought from Rustbuster states that once applied, a project can be left in primer (supposedly even used in wet weather) for a considerable time. Oh well, I'd best get on with it then...
