I missed the last one due to family commitments, but should be up for the next one if the date/ time works out OK, any idea when this might be - someone needs to set a date.

As for the last meet I turned up for in Preston I think 12 or 13 cars were their even though the weather conditions were far from good (bucketing down at first) but those that missed out missed a good afternoon once it dried out with a chance to meet other Ovlov owners and share experiances and talk about the cars - Well worth the effort, hopefully at the next Pennington meeting we can get more owners to turn up as it always nice to put names to faces/ characters you only know from the net via the PC - Mike

I find this 'what about this date' doesnt get things organised. I would set a date and time and then people can make their mind up if they can come. Some people will be able to attend some wont, but if it becomes a regular meet (monthly, quarterly) then more people will be able to arrange to attend.

I know other areas around the country have this aspect organised, ie first sunday in the month. Dont want to tread on anyones toes but I have organised meets before and found this to be the best way.

You cant please everyone all of the time but you can please some people some of the time

Hi all,

Not been on for a while. Noted this meet suggestion but it looks like next weekend isn't going to happen and I couldn't make in at any rate (brake system being replaced and upgraded).

I've also suggested a meet on T5D5 at the Malthouses, Rishton near Halifax (seemed successful last time and I'm happy to take the lead this time) sometime before the end of November when we're all no doubt busy in the Xmas runup.

Any interest on here? Maybe start a poll for date and place?
