  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default where to get an air flow meter from?

trying to find an air flow meter for my v40 diesel without much luck

it's the t3 engine and the siemens part number is 5WK9632

I have tried eurocarparts and GSF and they don't sell them

can anybody help before I have to go to the dealers and remortgage my house!!!

Try the various Volvo specialist breakers (Salvo seem to get mentioned often).

I took a risk by buying a Renault Laguna AFM (Or MAF) from ebay. I made sure it was the same year as my yr 2000 series 1 diesel - it works fine - the reason I took the risk is that no one else bid on it and I got it for a quid !.

There are a lot of AFM/MAF sensor dealers on ebay (not the prats that advertise chips) although they do not list a suitable meter for you it may be worth while contacting them to see if they can get one in - ie Oxflowuk advertise a MAF for the T4 at £59.90.

I beleive this AFM is an expensive one

dont buy the cheap ebay trader maf sensors. they are a waste of money. either buy brand-new or second hand genuine volvo.
