Unhappy Loss of power/stutters to halt Help

Hi everyone am new to the forum and i need your help !
I have a 98 s40 t4 which i've had for a few weeks now i went on a long trip in it over the weekend and ended up comming back on the back of an AA lorry, heres the problem , there was half a tank of petrol when i got it which i filled up before i left all was well until i got about 200 miles into my trip (fuel gauge showing just under quarter) and there was a sudden loss of power and no acceloration and stalled to a halt, after about 20 mins on the hard shoulder i started it up again and it ran as if nothing had happened until 7-10 miles down the road when it happened again, AA man couldn't find any fault and there were no warning lights on the dash, have had a look at it today and there are traces of oil in the throttle body pipe and a lot of oil by the turbo oil return pipe.
Any ideas ?
Please Help ! ! !
