Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Black Met Touch Up Paint?

Were can i get my grubby mitts on some touch up paint for my 98' S40, paint code 332. Been to the local Halfords, but they dont stock that colour.

i know you can buy cans of coulour coded spray paint of ebay, but i believe someone got the same from a dealer for cheaper

try ebay look for a seller called the scratchdoctor i bought the same code touch up paint from him, hes based here in liverpool, mines the same colour code as yours, cost me about £8 you get the main coat laquer and scratch applicators for putting paint into the scratches need any more info pm me

hope im not breaking the forum rules here by posting contact details where any one who needs touch up paint for any volvo colour can get it of this company here in liverpool as long as you give them the paint code they will have your exact match

Thanks for that info Bertuk, but ive been to Volvo this morning, and for a smidge over £5 i got genuine Volvo 332 paint and laquer.

Just goes to show main dealers are not that expensive for everything. Well apart from the fact they wanted £5250 for an 02 plate V40 sport!

i take it its one iof those nail varnish type thin stick type paint ? with a brush on the end , the good thing about the scratch doctor is you get alot for your money, and besides the little brush on the end of the stick you get paint scratch applicators to fill in the scratch were as the ordinary paint the brush is to thick to do scratches, as your suppose to build the scratch up until its more or less filled, then the top coat ,thats if you want the job to look good, but on another note the price you paid, was very reasonable from the dealer
