Very nice. Presumably a custom made one - not by Longlife by any chance? I'm considering one of theirs for my V70; I believe that they're very good.

Hi Sarge,
It's a Powerflow system, done by Sargents in Yeovil Somerset. 2.5" from cat back into 2.5"Y piece then splits into 2 x 2.25" with 2 x 4.5"x3.5" tailpipes, Paul, I'll have a go next time it's on a ramp Thanks Hedley |

Thanks for that, Hedley. I don't see me getting as far as Somerset though to have mine done, even if the company do share my surname!

Hi Sarge,
There should be a powerflowdealer near you, Don't jump straight in tho' do a bit of research first. There are 2 near me and 1 is not as good as the other, It's all down to the bod doing the welding! Hedley |

Nice looking set of pipes there! What do they sound like?
Are you at the C.B. on Sunday? I have heard good things about Powerflow, but unfortunately their local branch mucked me about for 2 months, so I went to Longlife. I heartily recommend them. Knowledgable guys, great workmanship and high grade stainless throughout. The customer service is great too. I went back unannounced to get the position of the tailpipe adjusted and they did it on the spot. Great stuff. I went to the Falfield (South Gloucestershire) branch. Later, Dan. |

so you've got rid of the two silencers, the big one after the cat and the small one near the bumper?? must be loud!! ;)
i was thinking of splitting into 2 pipes after the small silencer near the back bumper, wot do u think?? keep it quite but a bit cramped. any thoughts on the revised offer for those parts i emailed u about?? cheers paul |

RE: Twin chuffs on my S70
I'm 99% sure it will not. I think it's because the AWD has a different shape fuel tank to FWD, so the pipes will not fit in the allocated space. Lots of people told me I couldn't fit dual to a S70!! It's a shame you are not going on Sunday to see it.
All I can say is try it, but £300 is quite a lot for an experiment. My system cost £376 inc Vat & fitting plus it has a lifetime guarantee. Hedley. |
