I've been driving an XC60 T4 Edition for the last week or so;

Taking it very steady I can get 30mpg out of it, but day to day is mid-late 20s - Its done about 1600 miles at present.

Give it until 1000 miles and then reset all the trip/mpg information on the car and see how you go

On first glance my old eyes read the thread title as 'V 90 14 mpg??' which would indeed have been poor!

I would echo MtillingVolvo's view.

Which driving mode are you using? I find comfort is around 2-3mpg better than dynamic and eco about the same again over comfort, all tested on identical journeys.

I was told it should loosen up around the 2-3k mark, currently sitting at 1400.

These do seem quite poor figures.
My XC60 T8 is only a week old and done about 600 miles so far.
Generally I've been keeping it charged up where possible but did the journey to work today with an almost completely depleted battery and got 33.5mpg.
Mostly motorway driving with some traffic in places. Doing up to about 80-85mph where possible.
Data as follows:

Duration: 33 minutes
Distance: 27 miles
Electric consumption: 1.5kwh
Electric regeneration: 1.8kwh

Interesting to see it regenerating more than it used.

Hi,

S90 T4 here, around 6,000 miles on it now.

I’ve had around 37-38mpg on a really good long run, but am averaging around 30mpg on local short runs..
