Buy one with 3M sticky pads, not the sucker ones, because with the best will in the world the suction pad mounts will fall off the screen from time to time.

An essential point is to position the lens so that it points out through a section of the windscreen that is actually wiped by the wipers, both front and back. Especially with the 3M ones because they use a contact adhesive where you only really have one chance. Do it right first time.

My diler just installed Mio Dual Camera for me:

He also recommended this as an easy install option:

DR900s-2Ch hard wired with PowerMagicPro and with front cam just under Intellisafe box. No problems at all over 5 months of use.

I rarely use Parking mode though.

There's a thread on the XC40 forum site which suggests Volvo are implementing their own system if you have the 360 degree camera.

Hi @Kentish/@Bloke69, You couldn't tell me which fuses (I assume you used fuses, not an OBD connector) you used for Permanent live and Ignition live?

I think my 900S-2CH is mis-wired!

People say no issues but have you tried activating the airbags to make sure none of the cabling causes a problem?

That seems eminently sensible given that there are already wired-in cameras from all angles.

Will this be software upgrade for existing owners with 360 or will it be a new option / non-retrofit...?

It does sound like a great idea in theory, but are the forward and rearward facing parking cameras not a bit low down for this kind of application? Also, they can get very wet and dirty.
