Default Default Settings for Driver and Media

I'm new to my MY18 XC60 and I want to be able to set a default Drive mode and also ensure DAB radio is used and not FM.

1. I have customised the Individual drive mode. Is there any way I can make this the default, or include it in a driver profile? Reading previous entries this doesn't seem possible as comfort is used for the emissions tests.

2. I have set various DAB favourites, but it always seems to be FM that is set when I get int he car. Is there anyway I can ensure that DAB is the default radio setting?

Thanks
D

Sounds like you have your “Profile” locked, so any changes you have made to the car’s settings are NOT saved when your lock the cr.
Suggest next time you have made any settings change that you then unlock your profile/save/relock - job done.....!
Took me a few times to realise the above & to find the right menu options to edit/change the profile attached to my key.

Default Default Settings for Driver and Media

You can't set a default driving mode or assign one to a Driver Profile AFAIK. Something I would like to do if possible.

Re the Driver Profile Lock. You don't have to unlock before you manually save settings, just bring up the profile and hit the save button.

I don't seem to have your problem with the DAB radio source when first getting into the car. I think it defaults to the last "source/channel/station" (FM, DAB, Spotify) in use by the Driver Profile at previous switch off.

Default FM default after Apple Car Play

So I use Apple Car Play and DAB radio mainly.

When I start the car with no phone for Car Play the default media is FM, and not DAB. Anyone know how I can change that?

Also, mostly, but not always, when I turn on any media, it is really quiet, I have to turn up the volume alot each time. Is there anyway to set a default volume level?

TIA

Default Volume

How about the volume level?

Seems I'm changing source and the volume goes to practically zero, so I'm checking if stuff is working, if I have a connection etc, it is all working fine but I don't hear it cause the volume is so low.

Is there a way to specify a default volume whenever the infotainment system is turned on?

You are correct, the vehicle's legally submitted emissions data is based on information given by Volvo and is linked to Comfort mode.

You need to save your settings to the Profile linked to your own key.
My wife has her own media preferences & volume levels that are specifically linked to her key.
