Default Looking at my first XC60 tomorrow.....

Hi everyone,

Long time Volvo owner, but am looking at my first XC60 tomorrow as my old V50 died on me last week

Its a 2.0 D3 on a 2010 plate with FSH and 102k on the clock.

How do you rate them? Anything in particular I should be looking out for?

Thanks!!!!

Love my 2008 model, only thing to check is windscreen not leaking at the top, press from the inside should be NO movement, if there is screen will need resealing.

I'm afraid I don't know the 2.0 D3 but I bought a 2013 2.4 AWD and have covered 90'000 trouble free miles, I've regularly serviced it and it's been outstanding

look for a good service history, good tyres and brakes are a sign it's been looked after, trailing arm bushes can be an issue and check the colour of the coolant it should be green or blue, brownish tint can mean the rad is tired, which was a known fault on some models

All round it's been a perfect car for me, the 2.4 AWD is a little thirsty, that would be my only issue

Good luck with your purchase

based on my own experience I'd check the rear discs, as mine needed replacing at 25k miles. Due to me being a cautious driver, and EBD focusing braking effort on REARs rather than fronts...yeah. didn't make sense to me either, but it's happened to quite a few owners. But check anyway.
