Volvo On Call service required
Second time this has happened - on call has stopped working in car and the app shows constantly that the car is in use and therefore all internet connection has stopped working so no spotify, driving journal etc
anyone keep having this problem? service booked for 3 weeks time |

Yep, had this problem the other week.
It's a software problem. According to the dealer it was solved by two software upgrades. TBH I'm not convinced about the 'upgrade' part. I suspect it was re-installing the software that fixed it.

its almost like the big updates they release every couple of months throw out the systems for cars not updated as iv not had the November 2019 update an now this happens. i missed the update last year an my on call systems went down until it was updated |

This has now happened to me too. Since 1st Jan, Volvo On Call app says "Car in Use", and the vehicle trip log shows no entries after 1st Jan. Also, the in-car SIM seems to have very poor connectivity all of a sudden. Frequently showing no bars, occasionally comes back to life, then goes again.
Was wondering whether the modem was packing up, but reading these posts it sounds like I might also need a software update. The Dashboard says "Volvo On Call Service Required" whenever you turn the car on.
