Default XC60 Radio Panel Screen failure after erasing codes

Hi Guys,

I was erasing codes in my XC60 using Delphi intelligent scan not that inteligent at the end and somehow the radio screen gone black and it was perfectly working before that.

I have tried to remove the fuse for it for it but it didn't help.

Any advise; )

I have to say that I haven't seen anything like that before.

Many thanks
Raf

I have heard of similar things going wrong after using non approved gear ... try disconnecting the battery for an hour and trying again .

I found two fuses blow up under the passenger compartment as well.
Seat heating and parking sensor module (camera)

I would imagine that this does affect screen functionality ?

It is possible to reset TPMS without the screen ?

ye you can do that with the dealer's VIDA gear . Was the blown fuse something do do with you plugging something in?

Nope. Noticed when trying to fix the screen as I ended up checking them all at the end.

The random emergency messages are from illegal transmissions on the FM emergency channel ,they by pass everything , you can turn it off once you get the screen working !

Have you disconnected the Battery for an hour ? I would imagine something has blown those fuses for some reason and there may be another fuse blown somewhere for the screen , IT needs professional fault tracing of feeds and signals .

I haven't got chance but i tried disconnecting 40amp audio circuit.

I think I know why it is not working. Vida is showing issue with phone module and this module is complaining about open circuit to antenna.

I think the fiber ring is not working because of that. Perhaps this break the chain. I will try to disconnect phone module and reset the codes again to see if that makes any difference.

you will need to bridge the fibre optic cable at the phone module to bypass it .
