Issue with alternator, brought on by fuel line issues???
2001 V70, 2.4t, 140k
Just wondered if this was familiar to anyone: Day 1 - very low fuel, wouldn’t start in the morning. Ran battery flat turning it over. Charged battery, put 20 litres in. Starts and all fine. Day 2 - drove 10 miles-ish and engine died. Now battery isn’t being charged (checked with voltmeter). Got home with 3 stops charging from friends car! Plenty of faults on dash. So my question is - can the 2 issues be related? If so how? If not is it coincidence? Thanks Ben |
