Default Front Door Locks in the cold XC60 2012

SO it is about -3C this morning, windows all frosted up. Went out and unlocked it, got in and started the engine. Left the keys inside and left it running for 5 mins or so to defrost the windows. Went back to it, and both front doors are locked. Back ones and tail gate are unlocked ok. Managed to reach in from the back stop the engine and remove the keys. Tried to unlock the doors with the buttons on the key fob, but no luck. Locked the doors with the key fob, and then pulled the drivers door handle in the normal way, and it unlocked.

Got in to drive away, shut the door, and then tried to get out, but locked in. Had to get my wife to come out and give her the keys through the window, and get her to lock the car, and then pull drivers door handle to let me out.

Left it for about 1/2 hour, and it all works OK.

Anyone had this happen??
