  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Fixed with IT Crowd methodology. It has to have a bit of a spaz, and then it calms down.
This is caused by cracked solder joints on the PCB behind the info centre.

There's a relay on there and it cracks around the base, giving the info centre computer an intermittent, ripply power supply: which is just perfect to trip it on its face as shown. When you shut the car down the relay clicks which is enough to re-make the solder joint, until it heats up again in use and you're back to square 1 and Martian on the readout.

10 mins with the soldering iron sorts it out and whilst you are in there renew every electrolytic cap you can see.
