Default Wheel size experts needed

Looking for some wheels (not Volvo)...

Wheels are I think 6.5Jx16 ET41 PCD 5x114.3

Car as standard has 6Jx16 ET45 or 6.5Jx16 ET45 PCD 5x114.3

Tyres in both cases are 235/60R16 car is AWD any issues with ET41 vs 45?

NONE WHATSOEVER ...... don't listen to the "experts"

ALL wheels with taper seat fixings are lugcentric. That could be as well as "hubcentric" [ tight bore ].

I had many arguments with so called experts [ I've been building cars / selling wheels for 45 years ] about how the world will not end and the wheels will fall off if the wheel is NOT hubcentric. In the words of my old Grandpappy - bollox.

My '27T Competition Altered [ Pink car ] ran lugcentric 16" x 18" [ wide ] rear wheels. 1800 bhp with 3 stage Nitrous on 502ci Ford.Quarter mile 7.2secs @ 178mph ....... never fell off once.

Our Fuel Altered [ Red car ] ran 6.9secs @ 194mph in 1973 ..... nope, they didn't fall off either.

Well this is a 16 year old SUV with perished tyres and flaking wheels I’ve seen a used set of cleaner looking wheels with right size tyres for less than one brand new tyre so I’m tempted!

Shame the old tyre have plenty of tread but increasingly large cracks and are from 2009..... it rally does 40 let alone 194!
