When I done my rear bearings I jacked up the car and then jacked up the wheel also so that the suspension arms moved and gave me clear access to all bearing bolts on my XC90.

Job jobbed !
Job done ... aided by a magic mixture of 50/50 ATF and Acetone mixed up and slapped on liberally for three days ! When we finally cracked the bolt a good quarter of it was still dry !! No wonder it wouldn't budge ! Finally shifted it with an offset ring spanner and bodged up breaker bar made from an old length of swimming pool armature !!! Thanks for all the advice guys .. Much appreciated !!
