Removal or Orange reflector from front indicator assembly
Hi,
I have a 2005 C70 and have upgraded all of the bulbs, however I would like to complete the more "modern" look by removing the orange reflector (see pic) Is this possible to do without replacing the whole unit? what needs to be done? Thanks! |

I just replaced the whole unit on mine.
IIRC the unit would need to be split to remove the reflector, but it has been a while since I did mine.

The later units are glued as manufactured and will not come apart- yours will in all likelihood be the same. If you try and separate then you will learn many new words- mutter a lot of things that your dad warned you not to say!
Better to just change the whole unit. Bob |

I cheated!
On the front indicator assembly (when I had a V70), I covered the orange bit with some black "sticky-back plastic (carbon fibre effect)" left over from another job! A cheap job, but looked effective as the car was a very dark blue one.
