Default HID Upgrade

I know this will upset many, but has anyone used something like this to upgrade the lights

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-12000K-...item2a1fc47129

I am not saying this is exactly what I am after, especially as it uses a 12000K lamp, I am after a a more natural light I guess. Or does someone have a link to something they have bought.

I noticed this particular kit doesnt have the Canbus stuff fitted, so presumably this wont be any good anyway.

Any ideas?? It's for a Ph1 though guys

Cheers Dan, what was the delivery times like??? Was the quality any good??

Just found this one too, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bi-Xenon-H...item2ebbe870ff

Just noticed you have the Ph2 headlights, so I am guessing thats a H7 fitment??? Does the kit throw up the bulb failure light on the dash?

Hi

Time it always depends of the luck mine toke 1 month to arrive, mine is not cambus and didn't had a problem I choose the AC digital because the comments on the web 6000k is perfect in terms of color and the 35w is more than sufficient power at least for me.

You don't need to search for volvo kits just h7 is sufficient.

Regards
Daniel

The bulb failure warning light is only for the brake lamps.

I might have this wrong, but as far as I can tell Kieran, you unplug the socket for the headlamps and that then in turn plugs into the ballast unit. As for the rest of the gubbins it is hidden away, especially for MOT time!

For mot is best just to unplug two wires and put a traditional bulb easy simple and bullet proof
