S40 (New) General : - Slow Acceleration between 40-70mph (and other issues) - Page 2

Update on earlier post. Took to the garage and the same fault came up. After advising them that a new pedal/sensor had been fitter they found dodgy connections further along from the pedal. The sensor connects to another computer behind the dash, before the ECU. Apparently this is susceptible to becoming loose etc. They cleaned it up, cable tied it in place and all good. 1 hours labour and there was no need for the new pedal!
PS. anyone want to buy a pedal/sensor

Thats good news! My car was going into limp mode and like my previous post, DiCE was pointing to pedal sensor (may have been a loose wire and could have saved me money) - never gone into limp mode since and although initially I still had the slow acceleration issue, it seems to have disappeared months ago and drives great.
