Ballpark Value
I have what appears to be a pretty rare beast
2004 V70 2.0 SE Silver, Good nick, as it should be with only 38,000 miles on the clock Timing belt sorted etc The rare bits seem to be the 2.0 as I can't find too many and clearly the extremely low mileage Any thoughts anyone |

I would be interested in talking to you about this car, I need to buy a car soon and am local. Genuine Volvo lover too!!
Assuming, of course, you are looking to sell. If you are only looking for a value, it's that old what the market dictates. Is low mileage cancelled out by relatively undesirable model? (not to me i hasten to add!!) Last edited by biggbn; Jun 28th, 2018 at 20:21. |

Oops
I thought I'd changed my location
Been in the Manchester area for 6 months now. I'd only be interested in selling if the price was appropriate. It was an inheritance and I've had it about a year. Only 27k on the clock So I'm really just looking for some advice. Is the 2.0 undesirable? I'm not so sure. It'd be good to hear your thoughts Cheers |

It'll be a 2.0T - low pressure turbo - which should generate similar power to the 170 HP 2.4 non turbo.
You can't expect much for a 14 year old car. |

It's worth what someone will pay for it, but the engine isn't particularly desirable and it is 14 years old. The suspension bushings will be perishing on account of their age, as will other rubber components. Low mileage cars can harbour as many problems as high mileage cars, sometimes more. I would estimate £3000-£4000 depending on spec, history and overall vehicle condition / driving experience.

I would have thought anything within 1500-2500 range being honest, I notice there is now a similar car for sale including a private plate probably worth a few hundred quid, better engine, leather etc, guy has it priced at 2800. I think that is a wee bit optimistic but not too far off mark.
