Default Hard suspension

Why when I go over bumps is my ride so bumpy on some roads my foot is forced to go up and down with the bumps? I have only had this 2014 XC60 for 3 months and not very happy with it. Have other XC60 drivers had similar problems. My V70 I had for 10 years had a far superior ride!! This XC60 also has 18" tyres and I have the pressure kept at 35lb/sqin instead of the economical 37.

Yes, XC60 has a firm/bumpy ride. All Volvo staff I have spoken to regarding this confirm this is the case with the XC60. I find running the tyres at 34-34.5psi helps a little as long as there is no full load in the car.

I drive many different cars and my XC60 is by far the firmest suspension of them all, but still love it. The state of our city roads at the moment does not help matters!
