Looks like a good un. The rain hole might be best filled with a replacement. It looks like it has been leaking for some time and an attempt made to sealing it up

I would take it to an automotive glass or sunroof specialist , you might still be able to get a new seal , These non volvo glass roofs were all the rage in the 1980's :-) Do you think it may be leaking around the frame or where the glass rests on the rubber / There was a strip of butyl tape between meatal frame and roof when new , or there SHOULD be ..

What was the problem with getting insurance with it? My Golf is 30 years old and nothing out of the ordinary getting insurance for that. My Grandad had to get a days cover for my 360 at 29 years old and that was also easy.

Well, tried to order a replacement seal... could not find one for 'Volvo' not sure who the real manufacture is... however I ordered some samples (just some of cuts and maybe I'm in luck... for now I opened the seals up and it was more like cast and fall more or less in parts in my hands. Not sure what they have used to try to seal it again. For now I temporary fixed it by inline the inside and outside of the trim, fill it with silicon, so you still can open the pop-up sunroof. It's not beautiful but at least it's not raining into the car

Well, sorry should have be more precise, it seams I could only get 3rd party insurance, at least with my existing insurance.
