That is a strange exhaust header indeed...clearly designed by someone how didn't care about access to the Filter-on-Block...maybe it was intended for racing, with a remove Filter/cooler setup making access not necessary.

The old intake looks like an "A" intake for "less than high-performance" configurations (including Agricultural!)...now that your engine can breathe well, I hope you installed a Cam and other items consistent with that...

thanks Ron,

got a D cam in there.

Im not after a highly strung performance engine but Im quite excited to see what the performance gains are against the single carb and A cam.
will hopefully get the freshly rebuilt carbs on this weekend

New Exhaust installed.

2/14" stainless, i decided to have the tail pipe hidden from view.
I also want it to be quite and with little drone.

Very, Very pleased.
