a volvo garage should not have changed it until it got to 54000 miles , it is mileage dependant rather than time ...

Oh Well it was changed September last year at a dealer before I took ownership as part of the 3yr service plan purchased with the car.

When I got the car I purchased another 2 services for £199 so having it done early won't have cost me anything.
