Any company recommendations for insurance (1966 P1800S)?

Just received my renewal quote with an unacceptable increase.

I've used Peter James for some years now. Very satisfied. Got car home from France when wheel bearing collapsed, and paid out very quickly on accident claim ( 2 separate incidents ).

Do you have a contact number for Heritage? There seems to be a few using that name

Eat your hearts out. I only pay about €60 each for my PV, 144 and 940 which includes recovery to a destination of my choice, hire car when necessary to get me home, and legal costs. I insure through a classic car club

Seems like you didn't claim when you had the fire though as you've been fixing it yourself. Was there an insurance related reason?

I use RH, free breakdown recovery included, no fees for changes or cancellations. Never claimed, but have broken down and been lorried a long way home.
