Pimp My Ride

Well not exactly..............preferably something more subtle.

I have 2014 XC60 D5 and have never been overly impressed with the sound system. Has anyone upgraded theirs to give it a bit more oooooomph ?
Any advice would be appreciated, preferably without ripping everything out and spending a ridiculous amount of cash.

I looked into this a while back and does not seem to be an easy option to upgrade the sound. They only thing that i found was playing music from apple music via my phone made a big difference. Pity the days of just getting a better stereo and better speakers are gone.
