Default I've got the horn

....well actually I haven't as there's a problem with it.

Intermittently it works 2 tone, single tone or not at all.
Which can be really infuriating if someone cuts you up and you opt for a full blare only to parp like a 1980's fiesta.
Anyone else had this problem ?

PS some creativity with thread titles would be good.
I know we're all Volvo drivers, but..............

My last car which I sold on Monday had the horn like yours for five years right up until the week before I sold it then it was perfect.

Default got the horn but not a good earth

as your problem is intermittent and varies between horns-could it be bad earthing at the horns ? if it was at the wheel you wouldn't get one horn or both- surely then both or none?
id first check earthing/operation of each horn separately.

Did I ever tell you guys about WD40, hose it up the open horn bit. It may take a day or two to work.

Worked on previous cars

I should have replied, " Have you tried some lubricant".
