Default Bad Tone Ring?

A few months ago I replaced my axles because I believed the carrier bearing might be bad (humming) and it was. While doing to job I generously sprayed brake cleaner on the back of the hubs and the abs sensors. After packing up and driving around the srs and brake light went on. Vida was showing one of the wheel speeds to be faster.

I've since put on new ABS sensors and new steering knuckles/hubs/bearings (I was upgrading brakes so they all had to be done).

Still the wheel speed is faster. I want to now focus on the replacement axle as the culprit as this started at the time of the job.

Has anyone ever gotten a remanufactured axle with a bad time ring, maybe too few or too many teeth?
