Default MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor location

Hi, i'm posting on behalf of my father-in-law. He has a 2009 Volvo C30 D5 TD. We need to replace the MAP sensor, but after nearly replacing the MAF sensor accidentally, i realised i'd got the wrong one. However, i'm struggling to find the MAP sensor. I think i have an idea where it is on this model - on the left side of the car (viewed from the driving position), where pipe comes from the exhaust manifold to the intercooler inlet. However, the only way I can see to access this seems to be to take to bumper off! I've tried to get to it from the top, but it's too tight and to deep. I also took the plastic sump guard off and get to it from underneath, but no luck.
Have I got the location correct, and if so, what is the easiest way to access the sensor?

Right, i'd misunderstood why he wants to find it. He's bought one of these chip boxes. there this connects inline in 2 places. The first is the rail pressure sensor which we have found, and the second is the MAP sensor which we can't locate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only a couple of places it's likely to be. Either on the inlet manifold, or on the pipework leading to the inlet manifold from the intercooler.

Thanks for that. I suspected the bumper might have to come off. There's a crack in the bumper, so i think we might take it off and drop it off at a body shop, then we can swap the leads out while it's off.
