Default Battery query

Hi could anyone advise what type / part number they are using of battery please ? The one which the car was fitted with was tiny so obviously wrong. Presumably it should fill the battery tray as there is a bolt down clip retainer at 1 end and the slot for it to slide into at the other. Looks like battery dimensions are about17cm x 27cm. Haven't been able to find a reference to it on line.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know the official spec, either, but there's a foolproof way: nip down to your local scrapyard or accessory shop, halfords, etc. Measure a few batts, c which one will fit your tray, note it's dimensions, product code an amp hour rating, an buy accordingly. Diesels need a heavier duty battery, to cope with the higher compression, your B20 will start on almost anything produced today. If your car has extra stuff, driving lamps, fogs, etc, go for highest amp hour rating as will fit in tray. Good luck.
