I have two entries in the register for this car.
One in 1980 and the other in 1999.
I am not allowed to give out contact details, but I can tell you the car was last known by us to be located in Farnborough, Hants owned by a Mr David Blazdell (1999).
Previous to that, it lived in Camberley Surrey with a Mr R Roberts (1980).
I could ring the last owner for you and see if he is willing to pass on any info. Let me know if you'd like me to do this for you.

Regards,

Gordon

Wow thank you Gordon. That's very interesting, when my father owned it we lived in Braunton North Devon and it ended up 10 miles down the road from where I live now. We moved here in 82 so followed the car. If only I looked for it 10 years a go

I would be great if you could try and contact the last owner for me

Thank you

Great, I'll try to get that sorted ASAP, however I've been knobbled for Jury service from Monday and have to fit in too many other things round it as well.
If you haven't heard form me in a little bit, please feel free to remind me or PM me. You can always email me -gordonahunter "at" virginmedia "dot" net
(hope that will stop spam engines from swiping my address!).

Glad to be of service.

No problem and thanks again.

I have made a note of your email so you can remove it if you want.

Hope your jury service doesn't drag on too long.

Ok so I spent all afternoon on Google and found out a few things.

Sadly David passed away back in 2007 but I have contacted his sister who thinks the car went to Ireland and was going to be restored.

Any idea what I could do next to try and find the car?

Thanks

Hi Martin,

I'm now Jury free. It looks like you might have followed things through as far as I could though? Let me know if you think I can still help?

Thanks,

Gordon

This is interesting, I remember there was a baby blue or powder blue 1800S for sale a few years ago in Roscommon about 4 years ago and thought that was an unusual colour at the time, maybe this is the same one.

That is very interesting, I bete there aren't many in that colour. Guess what I really need now is to find out the Irish reg from the chassis number but is that even possible?

Ya never know. The Deparment of Transport would look after that info. Give them a ring and see what happens. Explain the situation and they might be flexible with the rules....we're good at that kind of carry on. Link here:
