There's plenty of places that will sell reconditioned injectors for around £60 or do what I did three years ago buy second hand or from a scrap yard far cheaper and if 4 out of the 5 work bonus..get the new fitting kit and seals though if you have a bash at it yourself

OMG - where are the good mechanics??!! And they want us all to move to self drive cars which rely on sensors, ha ha!!!

Great replies from reggit and dieselderv, I would start there and hopefully you will get this resolved.

Great work BTW reggit - just what I would do with Vida i.e. read the live data; nice one

I see you are in Winchester, I have a mechanic I use who is in Hook, up the M3. He is a proper knowledgable, no nonsense old school chap who refuses to replace things if they are still serviceable.

If you are interested I can pass on his details.

I added this yesterday . So far no cutting out issue. Seems like the engine is slightly smooth too.
It used to some what struggle until reach 50mph (after 50 it’s like a horse ) . Now slightly quick pickup. Not sure it has reduced the vibration and noise when the car is idle. Fingers crossed !

You are not far from me. I use a great independent guy called Aaron from AMC Cars. Located in Hythe near Southampton. Give him a call 07587 988174.

Redex is £7 a bottle. Would give that a go before replacing injectors

Cheers

My mechanic is called Dave, at DJ Autos. His number is: 07786649326

If anything explain the situation and he'll advise you over the phone, he is brilliant.
