107, I was trying to put the correct tyre on, they just refused because of the incorrect ones on the front. "It will mess up your 4WD"
Used them for years and always been very good, never again after all the grief to get refunded. |

From the factory 18" wheels used 235/60 R18 103V tyres, unless a special order was specified.
107 tyres just have stiffer side walls, and like most applications it is not recommended to fit different tyre specifications on the same axle. Hope it helps

I currently have Goodyear wrangler 255 60 18 h112 tyres on my volvo xc90 4 x 4 . I need two new all terrain tyres . These tyres have been great for road use and use across fields for horse events and shooting days. Sadly discountied now and i cant find any old stock wranglers. Two of my tyres are still good . What is best alternative for on off road use tyres to replace the two worn ones . Any advise would be great

Winter Tyres New - Summer Tyres Mixed
I just bought a 63 Plate XC90 D5 SE LUX which is fitted with a reasonably new set of Winter tyres, which I have no experience with. Earlier in this 50+ page thread the General Grabbers were rated well. I have on each corner:
They do seem a bit twitching in the wet, medium cornering speed when breaking up to a junction in the wet, but TBH, I'm just getting used to the car. I'd appreciate any views on the General 'SnowGrabbers'

Summer Tyre Mixture

Then the other two lead to a mixed bag of load ratings:
Probably put the 107w loaded ZEETEX's on the front axle and the 103w on the rear? Thoughts? Unfortunately, the HANKOOK and the Continental look to have slightly different tread patterns so I'm unsure whether I should use them as a pair. Bit of an odd mix

Mismatching tread patterns isn't allowed, i.e a winter tyre on one side and a summer on the other. So basically, you can have two summers on one axle or two winters. They don't have to be the same brand, but the tread needs to match. You can't have one wheel summer tread and one wheel winter tread on the same axle.

OP, yes you can put the Hankook and the Conti on the same axle. It's not recommended, but yes you can do it. Put the best quality (grippiest) tyres on the rear - so your mismatched pair should be there (you don't tell us tread depth but my assumption is they're all similar & legal)

1 x ZEETEX SU1000vfm 235/60 R18 107w M+S DOT 26-21 1 x ZEETEX SU1000vfm 235/60 R18 107w M+S DOT 25-21 Then the other two lead to a mixed bag of type, tread & depth: 1 x HANKOOK 'Ventus S1evo2' 235/60 R18 103v DOT 2618 4.5mm tread 1 x Continental 'Conti SportContact5' 235/60 R18 103v DOT 2618 5mm tread So Zeetex on the rear? Maybe I should just scout out for a second hand replacement Conti or Hankook, but iDK which would be better. EBay the other,… will do sone research, but happy to take advice.

The Zs on the front and set up an eBay alert for both the conti and the hankook part worn so you get a matching pair on the rear as soon either comes up, I suggest.
