2002 V70 Electrical Problems - Page 2

I was thinking. If after disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, everthing works except the radio. Does this mean the radio is the root cause of the problem? Is there a way for me to test this?

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the help. I finally found a dealer that would do proper investigation and it turned out that the problem was that the radio and SWM needed to be reprogrammed. Once they did that everything seems to work fine.

Did this problem get fixed by reprogramming something, or disconnecting the battery etc? My passenger door has done the same - can't open it from inside or out, windows, mirror all dead. V70 2.4T Feb 2000.

Yes, reprogramming the radio and SWM fixed the problem.

hi i am now experiencing the same problem,had car 2months dont think climate has ever worked.it started with the central locking not responding properly,a few days ago i lost ilumination on the stereo & also steerin g wheel volume controls stopped working.i also noticed the rear right side door wasnt locked sometimes.
