Secondhand Prices
Has anyone noticed that prices for used Volvos seem to be on the rise. Out of interest I look at the Volvo 'used car' locator page and note that similar aged vehicles are averaging about a grand more than they were even just before las Xmas. I bought my S80 in February of this year, and it is a 2002 model. Similar models with significantly higher mileage are being offered for 1500 more than I paid. Yes, I feel happy at getting a good deal, but it is curious. Maybe we have become so used to prices falling year on year that the upward move is a suprrise.
Will it last I ask? |

I spoke to a dealer recently about various options for buying a car, and got him to check (hypothetically) the trade in value for a 3 year old S80 D5. £10K. Unless that rises, you need to bargain harder if you're buying now!
