Retro fit front fogs to P2 V70
Hi
I have just bought (for £50) a pair of Volvo front fogs for my 2001 V70 2.4. Has anyone got a set of instructions for fitting them. What else will i need? Software upgrade, relay, switch..... Does the front bumper need to come off. Would it be easier to wire them up with a separate swicth and relay (not the Volvo one) I know that could bypass the need for the software upgrade. Thanks |

all you need is a new switch and software upgrade. all pre wired you dont need the bumper off to fit just need to jack it up

If anyone needs the instructions for installing anything - they are probably here. If you can't get it to work follow this link http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/ii/ Select language as English, then click on Go Select your model - don't nmeed to bother with year or any other options but click on search and all the available installation instructions will be listed Last edited by wheelnut; Sep 12th, 2006 at 17:02. |

can i just ask what is stopping the lights being wired bypassing the ecu so getting away without forking out for the software upgrade?
i've fitted loads of aftermarket lights in the past just by taking a feed from the headlights & using a switch & relay, why can't the same be done here? sorry i'm not helping but just curious |
