Default V70 Driver's Seat

I recently acquired a 2004 V70 D5 with bucket-type driver's seat (grey leather). The seat base does not have much padding and is uncomfortable on longer runs. (My old 940 GLE had very comfortable seats by comparison). Are there any cures / suggestions for making the seat more comfortable? The car also has low-profile sport tyres, so that may make the ride firmer.

Are they the standard Volvo seats?

If they are, they were voted the most comfortable seats ever fitted to a production vehicle!

Can't really think of anything. You could improve the ride by going down to 16" wheels from the 17's which gives a bit more cushioning thanks to higher sidewall tyres. Possibly play with the tyre pressures.

The new V70's are pretty firm, though.
